Systematic asset manager combining performance, sustainability and climate objectives.

Serafin Asset Management («SAM») and Artico Partners AG, Zurich/Switzerland, have agreed on strategic cooperation in spring 2023. SAM acquired a 51% stake in Artico with the aim of increasing its stake to 100% by mid-2024. With this cooperation, SAM expands its competence in the field of quantitative asset management and taps additional expertise in the field of sustainability in an investment context.

Artico Partners AG is a systematic asset manager that invests in developed and emerging equity markets. Artico's equity funds invest globally in companies that are superior in terms of growth, profitability, balance sheet strength, and valuation. In recent years, Artico has expanded its portfolio construction to include ESG criteria and a decarbonization goal and aligned all of its funds with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. In January 2023, the Artico funds were classified in accordance with Article 9 of the SFDR and offer a unique combination of superior fundamental characteristics, very high ESG ratings, and a low carbon footprint. Artico Partners AG is a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI).
